Quick verdict: Have the Primary Owner export your Claude organization’s data as an archive, then rebuild each shared Claude project as a custom GPT or ChatGPT project with the same instructions and files. OpenAI documents no import of chats or memories from other assistants, so ask each user to note what Claude’s memory holds and add it to ChatGPT’s custom instructions. ChatGPT Business costs the same per seat, allows up to 200 seats, and adds image generation.

    No. OpenAI documents no import of chats or memories from other AI assistants. Keep the Claude export as an archive and re-create key context in custom instructions.

    Who can export Claude Team data?

    Only the Primary Owner, from Organization settings, then Data and privacy, then Export data. Members have no self-serve export.

    Is ChatGPT Business more expensive than Claude Team?

    No. Both charge $20 per Standard seat and $100 per Premium seat a month on annual billing.

    What replaces Claude Code?

    Codex, which OpenAI includes in both ChatGPT Business seat types.

    Will my old chats be searchable in the new assistant?

    No official path moves chat history between these assistants for business accounts. Keep your export as an archive, and move the knowledge that matters (instructions, reference files, prompts) into the new tool’s projects or custom assistants.
