Why we work this way

Many software comparison sites earn a commission when you sign up for a tool, which gives them a reason to favor the vendors that pay best. HelpCompare’s value is data you can check: every price is recorded from the vendor’s own pricing page, dated, and published in our open dataset. Commissions would undercut that.

How tools are ordered

HelpCompare publishes no scores or rankings of its own. Tools appear by the facts on the page, such as price and plan limits, and any star ratings are G2’s, quoted with the date we checked them. Our methodology is fixed before we look at any vendor, and no company can pay for a better placement or a review. The full rules are in our Editorial Standards.
