Bottom line up front: Is it worth moving a WordPress site to Squarespace?

It is if you're tired of running hosting, updates and security yourself, but treat it as a one-way door: Squarespace doesn't offer a full export if you want to leave later.

Squarespace's content-import tool brings over blog posts and pages, though your theme's design and anything a plugin was doing get rebuilt inside a Squarespace template. The bill gets simpler too: Squarespace Basic is $19/mo billed annually with hosting included, against $25/mo annual for the closest hosted WordPress plan. Before you commit, list every active plugin and the job it does (forms, bookings, SEO settings, memberships, a store), because the plugin you forgot about usually runs a feature customers rely on. Each job needs a Squarespace-native answer or a deliberate decision to drop it. If that list leaves more than a couple of gaps, stay on WordPress and pay for managed hosting instead.
