Bottom line up front: How smooth is a move from Trello to ClickUp?

Smoother than most: ClickUp's native Trello importer connects to your Trello account and brings over boards, lists, cards and attachments, matching members by email address.

That email match is the step to prepare for. Anyone whose Trello login uses a personal address, or who has left the company, won't map cleanly, so tidy your Trello members and invite people to ClickUp on their work emails before you import, or their cards arrive with no owner. Rebuild statuses on purpose rather than copying every ad hoc list the boards collected over the years, because a sprawling status list makes every dashboard and automation you build next unreliable. Budget the ongoing cost as well: seats go from $5 to $7 a month on annual billing, and the AI Trello bundled becomes a Brain AI add-on from $9/seat/mo.
