Switching from PandaDoc to Adobe Acrobat Sign

No dedicated importer exists between PandaDoc and Adobe Acrobat Sign; templates are rebuilt by hand.

Bottom line up front: Is it worth moving from PandaDoc to Adobe Acrobat Sign for PDF editing?

Only if your team really edits PDFs, because you trade PandaDoc's month-to-month billing for Adobe's annual commitment to save a couple of dollars a seat.

Adobe's Standard for teams is $16.99/mo against PandaDoc Starter's $19/mo, both annual, and it adds real PDF editing and 100GB of storage, but early cancellation costs half the remaining commitment. You also lose PandaDoc's content library and custom branding, and templates are rebuilt by hand. Don't rebuild everything. Pull a list of the templates your team actually sent in the last few months and rebuild those first, because most template libraries are full of old versions nobody uses. Before you close PandaDoc, export each signed document with its completion certificate, the record of who signed and when, since that's your proof if a signature is ever questioned.

    Before you cut over

    • Set up single sign-on in Adobe Acrobat Sign before you invite the team, so accounts are created through your identity provider rather than by hand.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Does Adobe import PandaDoc templates?

No dedicated importer; recreate templates by hand.

    Will I save money?

Slightly, $2/seat, but you lose PandaDoc’s free tier and monthly billing option.

    Do I gain PDF editing?

Yes — Adobe bundles genuine PDF editing that PandaDoc does not offer.

Do my templates and signed-document history carry over?

No dedicated importer exists between these two; templates are rebuilt by hand, and past signed documents typically stay accessible in the old tool’s archive rather than transferring.
