Bottom line up front: Should a Dropbox Sign team that's reached 5 users move to DocuSign?

Not before you've priced staying: Dropbox Sign Standard stops at 4 users, but its Premium quote covers 5 or more, and moving means rebuilding every template by hand.

DocuSign sells team plans per user with no published user cap, Standard at $30 against Dropbox Sign's $25 and Business Pro at $45, and its plans carry envelope allowances where Dropbox Sign's paid plans are unlimited. I've paid enough software bills with my own money to know a quote moves when it's up against a real alternative. So get both in writing, the Dropbox Sign Premium quote and a DocuSign quote for the same seat count and yearly volume, and set each envelope allowance next to its price. Switch only if DocuSign still fits after you count the rebuild work, or if you'll genuinely use its integrations or Business Pro workflows.
