Box pricing: Business Starter $5/user/mo (annual, 3-user minimum, up to 10 users). Free plan: no business free plan — 10 GB personal-only free tier exists separately. Each figure links to the comparison it was verified in.
Business Starter at $5/user/mo billed annually fits a team of 3 to 10, but that cap is the catch: pass 10 users and you're pricing Business at $15/user/mo.
Starter needs at least 3 users, gives 100 GB pooled per user and includes Box Sign for e-signatures, while Business removes the user cap and adds unlimited storage. The 10 GB free tier is personal-only, so don't run company files on it. Permissions matter more than storage here. A folder tree built for a handful of people turns into a mess of one-off shares as you grow, so from day one give access by team group rather than by individual, and when someone leaves, move their files to a named owner before you close the account. If you expect to pass 10 users within the year, price Business now and read Box vs Dropbox Business.
