Bottom line up front: What doesn't make it across from Bitwarden to 1Password?

Your shared items don't: 1Password imports Bitwarden's encrypted JSON export, but not items in shared collections or passkeys, and Argon2id accounts must switch to PBKDF2 before exporting.

Those shared items are usually the ones that matter most, the admin, finance and vendor logins a whole team depends on, so rebuild them before you invite anyone. Don't copy the old structure one to one. Shared access piles up over the years, and a rebuild you're doing by hand anyway is the cheapest chance to ask who really needs each vault and to flag every item a former employee or contractor could see for a password change. The move costs more per user, $8.99 on 1Password Business against $4 on Bitwarden Teams or $6 on Enterprise, and that buys SSO, SCIM and a free Families plan for every employee. Set up SSO first, so accounts come from your identity provider rather than by hand.
