To share passwords securely, move them out of spreadsheets, chat and email into a business password manager. For a team of 10, 1Password's Teams Starter Pack at a flat $24.95/mo (annual) is the lowest paid price here, under Bitwarden's $40/mo and LastPass's $42.50/mo for the same team.

Past 10 users the pack adds up to 10 extra seats at $4.99 each, and 1Password Business is $8.99/user/mo, against $4/user/mo on Bitwarden Teams and $4.25/user/mo on LastPass Teams, so re-price as you grow.

Offboarding is the weak spot. Removing someone from the vault stops future access, but it can't make them forget a password they've already seen, so when a person leaves, change the shared logins that matter most (banking, domain, payroll, admin consoles) that same week. The same logic applies on day one: every password that ever sat in a spreadsheet, chat or email should be changed after import, not just moved. Turn on two-step sign-in for the manager itself and name two admins, so one lost master password can't lock the company out.

A business password manager stores logins in vaults you share with teams, with admin controls to add and remove people. Unlike a personal one, the company owns the vaults, so access can be taken away when someone leaves.
