Bottom line up front: Is 1Password's Teams Starter Pack enough, or do you need Business?

The Starter Pack fits a small team with no identity provider: it's $24.95/mo for up to 10 users on annual billing, with extra seats at $4.99.

Business at $8.99/user/mo ($10.99 monthly) is where SSO, SCIM, the admin audit log and IP allowlisting start, plus a free Families membership for every employee. That perk is more than a nice extra, because people reuse passwords between home and work, and a leaked personal password is a common way into a company. Whichever plan you pick, write the offboarding step down now. Removing a leaver's vault access doesn't erase what they already saw, so change every shared password they could reach, starting with banking, domain and admin logins. If you go the SSO route, have an admin turn on biometrics and set a maximum offline period, or SSO users lose offline access.
