Bottom line up front: What happens to my SEO reporting if I move from Ahrefs to Moz Pro?

Your trend lines start over, because Moz has no Ahrefs importer and rank history only exists from the day each tool starts tracking a keyword.

The saving is real if you were on Lite, $49 against $129, and Moz bundles AI-visibility tracking, but you give up Ahrefs' deeper backlink index and Content Explorer. The part that trips people up is the report, not the data. Ahrefs and Moz each score authority on their own scale, so a client or boss used to one number will see a different one after the switch and read it as a drop. Tell them before it happens, and reset the baseline on the first month in Moz rather than charting old and new scores on one line. Export your ranking history and backlink reports as CSV first, and keep Ahrefs until one full reporting cycle has run in Moz.
