Editorial assessmentBoth are collaborative, browser-based and packed with generative AI, but they serve different teams: Express serves marketing and social; Figma serves product and design.
Adobe Express Teams licenses every person at $7.99 a month on an annual subscription, with at least 2 seats. Figma charges by seat type, with $3 Collab seats and free viewers, so reviewers and stakeholders cost little.
Express uses Adobe Firefly, which Adobe says is designed to be commercially safe, with IP indemnity on select Enterprise plans. Figma’s AI terms leave rights in inputs and outputs with the customer, and it includes AI copyright protection on Organization and Enterprise.
There is no direct importer either way. Adobe says Figma frames exported as PDF are not fully supported in Express and may render incorrectly. Figma can import Express designs exported as PPTX into Figma Slides, or as images.
Standard list prices checked September 19, 2026. Adobe Express Teams is an annual subscription billed monthly with a 2-seat minimum. Figma prices are per seat type; viewers are free. AI add-ons, promotions and taxes are not included.
