Bottom line up front: Which IDrive plan should a small team start on?

Start on Team at $9.99/mo billed annually ($11.99 monthly) for 5 computers, 5 users and 5 TB, and move up to Business only when you outgrow it.

Servers are a $5/server/mo add-on on Team, and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace backup is $20/seat/year. That second add-on deserves a real look. Your email and file suite keeps its service running, but getting back a folder someone deleted months ago, or the mailbox of an employee whose account was removed, is your job, and those everyday losses are the ones small teams actually have. I'd get one thing in writing first, because IDrive's own pages disagree on whether SSO and a HIPAA BAA come with Team or only higher plans. The free IDrive Basic plan (10 GB) is enough to test the client.
