Bottom line up front: Who is Backblaze Business Backup right for?

Teams of laptops and desktops that want one flat price per machine: $99/computer/year or $9/computer/mo, with unlimited data and no per-user fee.

It's the wrong pick if your important files live on a server or NAS, because Computer Backup excludes NAS and network drives. Version history is 1 year, with Forever at $0.006/GB/mo, and with a private encryption key Backblaze can't access your data but can't recover a lost key either. That last point is where small teams get hurt. The person who sets the key is often the one who later leaves, so store it in a shared password vault that at least two people can open. Then do what most buyers skip and restore a real folder during the 15-day free trial, because a backup you've never restored is only a hope.
