Coda pricing: Free; Pro $12/Doc Maker/mo (annual), $15 monthly. Free plan: none — Free — collaborative docs, tables, formulas and automations, limited AI trial. Each figure links to the comparison it was verified in.
Only Doc Makers are billed, at $12/mo each on Pro billed annually ($15 monthly) or $33/mo on Business ($40 monthly), while viewers and commenters are free and unlimited.
One line on the page also calls editors unlimited and free, which doesn't square with the Doc Maker rule, so ask the vendor exactly who becomes billable before you budget. Coda is now also sold as Superhuman Docs after Grammarly's acquisition, so don't be thrown if that name shows up. Per-creator pricing creeps in a predictable way. During rollout it's easy to give everyone creation rights, and much harder to take them back later, so name a small group who build templates and tables and let everyone else work inside them. Review the maker list each quarter, and read Coda vs Notion next.
