Moving from Salesforge to Instantly means getting your contacts out, rebuilding sequences in Instantly and reconnecting mailboxes. Here is the order that avoids a send gap.
Getting your contacts out: Salesforge's help center documents no in-app contact export, so on Pro your original lead files may be the only copy you have.
On Growth the API's Get contacts endpoint pulls contacts, and it also returns sequences and analytics, which is a good reason to move before any downgrade. You lose LinkedIn steps, which have no equivalent on Instantly's pricing page, and you gain headroom: Hypergrowth allows 125,000 emails a month for $97, against 50,000 on Salesforge Growth at $96 monthly. The overlap week is where teams get hurt. If a contact is live in a Salesforge sequence and a new Instantly campaign at once, they get two cold emails from you, and that's how complaints start, so pause each contact in Salesforge before it goes into Instantly and cancel only once the new campaigns are sending.

Most buyers only budget for the new subscription. This estimates the hidden labor, data-cleanup, and retraining cost of actually making the switch.
Estimate assumes: 1 hour of data-mapping/cleaning labor per 2,000 records, a blended $75/hr ops rate, tiered migration & cleaning tooling fees, and 4 hours of retraining per seat at a $45/hr fully-loaded rate.
Hypergrowth allows 125,000 emails a month for $97; Light Speed 500,000 for $358.
Every plan includes unlimited email accounts and warmup.
Hypergrowth allows 25,000 uploaded contacts.
Salesforge’s help center does not document an in-app contact export; plan to use the API (Growth only) or the source files you uploaded.
| Step | What you do |
|---|---|
| 1Collect your contacts | Keep the CSVs you uploaded to Salesforge; on Growth, pull contacts through the API’s Get contacts endpoint. |
| 2Save your sequences | Copy each step and delay; on Growth the API also returns workspace sequences and sequence analytics. |
| 3Set up Instantly | Pick Growth ($47, 5,000 emails) or Hypergrowth ($97, 125,000 emails) and connect your mailboxes with warmup on. |
| 4Upload leads | In Leads, Add Leads, choose CSV. The Email column is mandatory; keep to 50 variables, UTF-8. |
| 5Rebuild campaigns | Recreate the sequence steps in Instantly’s campaign builder and assign leads. |
| 6Cancel Salesforge | Once Instantly is sending, cancel Salesforge at the end of its term. |
What this path doesn’t do for you:
LinkedIn steps have no equivalent on Instantly’s pricing page, so move those to a separate tool. Salesforge’s API is Growth only, and an in-app CSV export of contacts is not documented; check your Contacts page before you downgrade.
