Editorial assessment

Bottom line up front: What's the catch in Framer's pricing before you build on it?

The price is fair, Basic at $10/mo per site on yearly billing and Pro at $30/mo per site, but there's no HTML export, so leaving later means a rebuild.

Each additional editor is $20/mo on top while viewers are free, and Pro adds 3,000 AI credits a month and 10 CMS collections. Treat the no-export rule as a design decision from the start. Keep your domain at a registrar you control, so a future move is a DNS change rather than a scramble, and export your CMS collections to CSV or JSON on a schedule so the content lives somewhere you own. My rule: if the site is mostly text that changes often, that lock-in costs more than the design freedom is worth. Read Framer vs Squarespace next if it bothers you.

Where this data comes from

HelpCompare records pricing and feature data from vendor pricing pages and documentation at the time each comparison is researched, then re-checks it on a published schedule. This entity page is generated from those records — it does not introduce any figure that has not already been verified on a comparison page.

  • Vendor pricing and documentation — www.framer.com, checked September 27, 2026.
  • HelpCompare research — 1 comparison page listed above, each with its own verification date.
  • G2 — aggregate rating and review count (none recorded for this tool). Review counts change daily; treat them as a snapshot.
  • Machine-readable copy — /data/tools.json, /data/tools.csv, and the open data hub.
Prices change often and vendors do not always announce it. Every figure here carries the date it was last checked — confirm current pricing with the vendor before you buy. If you find something out of date, the comparison page it came from is linked in the table above.
