If your product has a page in our Software Index, you can show buyers that its pricing is tracked independently, with the date we last checked it. The badge links to your tool’s pricing page on HelpCompare. It’s free, it needs no sign-up, and it doesn’t change what we publish.

Bottom line up front: Should I add the HelpCompare badge to my product's site?

Only if you want buyers to see that your published price is tracked independently. It's free, and it changes nothing about what we publish.

We record your price from your own pricing page and date it, and that's all the badge claims. It isn't a rating or an award, and placement here is never for sale. Put it where buyers check prices before a sales call: your pricing page, your press page or your footer. If your pricing has changed, send us the link and we'll re-check it.

The rules

  • It’s free and always will be. There is no paid version and nothing to sign.
  • It doesn’t buy anything. Adding the badge has no effect on your prices, comparisons or placement on HelpCompare. We publish no scores and placement is never for sale.
  • It says one true thing. “Pricing tracked” means we record your published price from your own pricing page and date it. It is not a rating, an award or an endorsement, so please don’t present it as one.
  • Your page stays current. We re-check prices on a schedule. If your pricing changes, tell Bill with a link to your pricing page and we’ll verify and update it.

Where should the badge go?

On your pricing page, your press or media page, or your site footer. Those are the places buyers look when they want to check a price before they talk to sales.

What if my tool isn’t tracked yet?

Pick “Not listed yet” and the badge links to the Software Index. If you think your product belongs in a category we cover, email Bill with your pricing page. We add tools when we can verify their published pricing.

Can I change how it looks?

Use the light or dark version, or the plain text link. Please keep the wording as it is, so the badge says only what is true.
